Postcard front. We decided to not use an image of a vehicle, as prevalent on so many ads and junk mail, and instead concentrated on a futuristic design to stand out in a pile of mail. This work was done for Aperio Insights.

Slide on the future. I designed the presentation so that every page looked like it could have been from a glossy magazine or brochure. The text I was given had a conversational tone, so I matched it with imagery invoking people, social interactions, and teamwork. This work was done for Aperio Insights.

Block version. A block gradient, angles, and arrows illustrate progression into the future. This work was done for Aperio Insights.

Calendar version. Information flows downward like a calendar or to-do list, and the title's enlarged numbers are integrated with their respective data. A banner to the right hangs as a general note overseeing the whole plan. This work was done for Aperio Insights.

Briefing on company. Attached to the 30-60-90 plan is a briefing on the company's current status. Matching company brand colors, information is parsed out in a card-like/sticky note-like approach to match either the plan's block arrows or calendar layout. This work was done for Aperio Insights.

Title card. The modern blocks building the title card are reminiscent of old-school notebooks. The Table of Contents is integrated conveniently with the title, so the reader jumps straight into business on the next slide. This work was done for Books Unite People.

Slide on Basic Rules. Once inside the presentation, the reader is greeted with splashes of color. The small publishing company holds an adamant stance against plagiarism, which the vibrant orange calls attention to. This work was done for Books Unite People.

Banner version 1. A clean-cut, well-dressed model against a white background finds some casual flair with posture and a thoughtful expression, leaning toward the question and encouraging new takes on old ideas. This work was done for Aperio Insights.

Banner version 2. A pop of bright color can attract the eye of a younger or bolder corporate audience. Most of my work has relied on free stock photography, and I make efforts to not always use them as is. The sharp but subtle angle of the vertical lines intersecting, craning with the model, invites a double-take from the viewer, granting the banner more than one view and consideration. This work was done for Aperio Insights.

Part of the interview includes a Day in the Life of the month's highlight, and we create simple collages from the personal photos she provides us to illustrate her personality and passions.
